At GNS, the safety of our drivers—and the communities we operate in—is our highest priority. Our fleet, ranging from compact vans to 32-tonne tipper grabs, reflects the scale and versatility of our operations. Every vehicle, is maintained to the highest standards to ensure roadworthiness, reliability, and driver safety.
To support this commitment, all GNS vehicles are equipped with Samsara, a cutting-edge telematics and fleet tracking system. Samsara provides real-time insights into vehicle locations and driver behaviours, enabling us to uphold safety and accountability across our operations.
The system also helps us identify areas for improvement, which are addressed through one-on-one coaching sessions and driving assessments with our transport team.
We also believe in fostering a positive, safety-focused workplace culture. Our monthly in-house driver competition recognizes top performers, boosts team morale, and reinforces safe driving habits across the business.

Beyond our day-to-day operations, GNS is proud to work alongside global partners like Enterprise Flex-E-Rent. Together, we donate £2,500 annually to a chosen charity, supporting causes that matter to our team and communities. Additionally, through the WEX Eco Miles initiative, we contribute monthly to support WeForest’s global reforestation efforts.
These projects help restore vital ecosystems and support local communities in regions such as Ethiopia, Senegal, and Zambia—making a tangible difference for both people and the planet. In the period 2023 – 2024, we planted 417 trees in the Wof Washa Forest in Ethiopia and the Shael in Ferlo, Senegal.
